My Eye-shadow Palette Collection

Saturday 16 January 2016

It's true I have an addiction with make up especially the Eye-shadow palettes!
I thought I would share with you all the eye shadow palettes I own and what I think of them.

First of it is Urban Decay's Naked Palette - I think almost everyone will agree with me when I say this is perfect!!
Loads of different versatile shades of brown, golds and nudes perfect for the everyday eye look.

Some of my personal favourite shades are:

Toasted
Half Baked
Dark Horse
Side Car

This was the first palette I ever bought MAC eyeshadows have such rave reviews so I went out and ordered a palette of four.
The shades are:
Top Left: Amber Lights
Top Right: Cranberry
Bottom Left: Hoodwinked
Bottom Right: Coppering

This was my first high end make up purchase and after hearing such rave reviews online I thought these were going to be amazing! However they just didn't work for me the colours were pretty and had a lovely pigmentation but after an hour of wear they'd smudged, and moved part way up my lid. Even with an eye primer underneath these shadows would not stay still!
This was my first and last ever MAC Eye-shadow purchase as you can see they've hardly been used.
Really disappointed in this but I guess they just don't work for me.
I now stick with getting lipsticks and my concealer from MAC as these are amazing!
Urban Decay's Electric Palette - so yes I do have an Urban Decay obsession! I kept seeing reviews for this palette online and with 5 pound off on my Debenhams beauty card at the time I couldn't resist!
I however have not mastered this palette yet so many beautiful shades but where to wear them?
This is also another palette where the shadow seems to creep up my eyelids. While being highley pigmented some if them are quite chalky.
I need some more practice with this palette!
Some of my favourite shades are:
Fringe
Chaos
Thrash
Jilted

Sleek Vintage Romance Palette - this brand is a highley underrated one! They have loads of Eye-shadow palettes and they are very highly pigmented!!
I LOVE this palette such beautiful golds, purples and pinks! A couple of Matte shades but mostly glitter shadows. The fallout is minimal though!
These palettes are a bargain at £7 and the pigmentation dare I say it could rival Urban Decay.
My favourite shades are:

Meet in Madrid
Court in Cannes
Lust in LA
Marry in Monte Carlo

(One last thing how awesome are the names of the shadows in the palette?)

W7 In The Nude palette - Basically this palette is a dupe for the Naked 3 from Urban Decay. This was the reason I bought it and for a while I used it there's a lot of pretty pink and nude shades. I just did not fall in love with this palette. It is a great palette if you aren't sure on buying the Naked 3 but I don't feel the colours worked for me.

Last we have my favourite palettes of the moment the Urban Decay Vice 4! I think this has been the best Vice palette so far!!
There is a wide range of colours and a few of them are Matte shades.
The pigmentation is amazing and the colours definitely help make a statement eye!
I am obsessed with this palette current and recommend everyone should buy it it is definitely worth it!!
Some of my favourite shades are:
Flame - love LOVE this one
Beat down
Harlot
1985
Underhand
Bones

Those are the Eye-shadow palettes I own! If you own any of these what do you think?
Any palette recommendations would be appreciated I'm always on the look out!

Thanks for Reading!
